Abstract

Hearing loss is a prevalent medical disease that affects people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds. It is possible for it to have a substantial detrimental influence on a person's ability to communicate, their social interactions, their emotional and physical well-being, as well as their general quality of life. The purpose of this extensive analysis is to give a more in-depth knowledge of the causes, kinds, prevalence, and implications of hearing impairment. In addition to this, it investigates the many coping methods and intervention options that are available to help people who have hearing impairments. This study pulls on a vast body of prior research that was collected from a variety of sources, such as academic papers, research projects, and medical periodicals. According to the findings, hearing loss is a complicated medical issue that calls for multifaceted methods to diagnosis, management, and therapy. This study emphasises the significance of early diagnosis and treatment, the provision of social support, and the use of assistive technology for those who have hearing impairments.
